Subchondral Bone Lysis and Sclerosis

This is a 4 yo Thoroughbred that had a right hind limb lameness which was difficult to localize. It was referred to the vet hospital for scintigraphy and CT scans. Bone modeling with a lesion of lysis and surrounding sclerosis was found deep within the subchondral bone.
