2025 in Review: Insights from Asto CT CEO David Ergun

Reflecting on the past year, we at Asto CT are filled with pride and excitement. We have watched Equina® installations expand across the globe, bringing cutting-edge, weight-bearing fan-beam CT imaging to more clinicians and patients than ever before. The growing impact of equine standing CT continues to fuel our optimism for the future.

This year was especially meaningful as we reached a major milestone: more than 10,000 clinical CT scans performed worldwide.  This achievement is a powerful testament to the trust our customers place in Equina® technology and the meaningful difference it is making in equine diagnostics. We were also proud to complete three new Equina® installations at Virginia Equine Imaging, Equine Innovative Medicine, and Pioneer Equine Hospital, further expanding access to advanced imaging.

Innovation remained at the forefront as we successfully reached C7 in the standing horse, expanding diagnostic capabilities and reinforcing our commitment to pushing boundaries. In addition, we strengthened our global presence through our partnership with IMV Imaging, supporting expanded distribution and collaboration across international markets.

Throughout the year, we had the privilege of connecting with colleagues and partners at ISELP, BEVA, ECVSMR, and AAEP - sharing knowledge, learning from the field, and strengthening our global community.

Above all, this year’s success reflects the incredible people behind Asto CT:  our dedicated team and our exceptional customers, whose passion and partnership continually inspire progress and excellence.
